About us

History

Nostrano is a family business specializing in producing upscale Italian deli meats for over 50 years. Today, we operate from an HACCP and SQF accredited establishment that meets Canadian standards. To respond to our customers’ requirements regarding quality and production consistency, we recently completed the expansion and modernization of our facilities.

 

Our Knowhow

Nostrano specializes in the production of a full range of dried Italian deli meats. These products are air-dried in controlled-atmosphere drying rooms. Our artisans apply techniques and processes developed over the years by European master craftsmen. Our faithfulness to these production traditions results in quality products rich in flavour and natural aromas, distinct from other products on the market in the same category.

Our dried Italian deli line includes Genoa, Calabrese, proscuitto, picantino and Rosette de Lyon. These products are available as sausages, saucissons and presliced deli meats. A full line of fine cooked deli meats made with the same care as our dried products is also available. This line includes capicollo, mortadella and prosciutto cotto.

Nostrano deli meats are made according to recipes and drying processes developed over the centuries. The result is a unique fine deli experience.
